We recently held a drawing competition for 10-16 year olds, in collaboration with The Flying Reporter.
A big thank you to everyone who entered. All the entries were absolutely amazing and our chief judge, Bertie, found it extremely hard to choose the winners! Although, he did say “when I first looked at the two winning entries, I thought ‘wow’”.
Freya won the 10-12 year olds’ category. Bertie said “I chose this because of the original idea of using hot air balloons. The gradual sunset also creates a stunning environment”.
The winner of the 13-16 year olds’ category was Seb. Bertie said “I chose this because I liked the idea of doing the cliffs in the background. The plane itself is well detailed and shows good artistic merit. I especially liked the use of colours and the clever background”.
Both winners will experience a trial flight in a Robin HR200 and their drawings will be on display in the AFC club house.
